Mawra Hocane or Parineeti Chopra: Who wore this lace top better?

Here's our verdict

Self-Portrait is the brand everyone's raving about and we get it - sported by everyone from Chrissy Teigen to Paris Hilton to the Duchess of Cambridge, it’s become an instant celeb favourite. It’s not just Hollywood divas though!

Mahira Khan, Alia Bhatt wore the exact same outfit, but who wore it first?

Mawra Hocane and Parineeti Chopra have joined the style bandwagon and one of them surely aced it while the other fell victim to trying too hard!

The thing about separates is that there’s no specific instruction set in stone to styling them and Mawra decided to create her own individual look by teaming her Self-Portrait top with skinny black jeans. Fine, you can go solid on solid but skinny jet jeans? Sorry, but we found this look too cliché and boring.

Also, a piece of advice to the Sanam Re star: if you’re rocking a trendy, meticulously crafted top, hewn in floral guipure lace like this one, go minimal on your makeup and hair. After all, 2017 is all about making statements – but in more subtle modes than last year!

The Meri Pyaari Bindu beauty has certainly upped her fashion quotient and we couldn’t be more ecstatic! Working her high-neck Self-Portrait top with utter élan, she teamed it with black, high waist, Lavish Alice trousers with a sultry wrap detail that amplified the oomph of her ensemble.

Unlike Mawra, Parineeti kept her look elegantly understated with her hair pulled back in a spick-and-span centre-parted high ponytail. Lightly lined eyes and nude pink lips made her the effortlessly stunning lass we’d definitely be watching out for!
