Will provide complete money trail for purchase of property in SC: Imran
PTI chief claims his proofs will not be the same as Qatari prince's letters produced by Sharif family
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan took a bold step on Wednesday as he vowed to provide the complete money trail of purchase and sale of his London properties.
“I will not only show money trail of purchase and sale of London flat and money brought back to Pakistan before SC… I will also show before SC proof that I had my Bani Gala house plans approved by Union Council of Mora Noor before starting construction,” the PTI chief tweeted.
Imran's Bani Gala residence declared illegal
Firing a broadside at Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Imran said his documents in the apex court will not be the same as letters from a Qatari prince as presented by the former during the hearing of the Panama Papers case in the top court. “And in both London flat and Bani Gala house case it won’t be a Qatari letter drama!”
The SC is currently hearing a petition against the cricketer-turned-politician filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hanif Abbasi regarding the purchase of 300Kanal land in Bani Gala by the PTI leader.
