Nawaz accepts invitation extended by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accepted a Saudi invitation to attend the upcoming US-Arab and Islamic Summit in Riyadh.

The invitation was extended to the prime minister by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman through his Minister for Information and Culture Dr Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad who called on PM Nawaz at the Prime Minister’s House on Tuesday, Radio Pakistan reported.

According to reports, the conference will also be attended by US President Donald Trump, who will mark his first visit to the Kingdom since he assumed the office as 45th US president in January 2017.

The meeting will focus on ways to enhance the cooperation between the American and the Muslim countries in fight against extremism.
