Security killed eight militants and injured several others in clashes in central Kurram agency on Thursday.

Three militant hideouts were also destroyed as security forces bombarded the Chinarak area in Hangu.

Heavy cache of arms and ammunitions were recovered during search operations in the area.

Operations continued in the area as the forces tried to restore peace and stability to the region.

Shafique Ahmed Madani | 13 years ago | Reply This is just joking and these Taliban and Pakistan Army is altogether responsible for deteriorated situation in the agency since four years and people are agitating in Islamabad since five days and goes for hunger strike and publishing these news just to satisfied the crowd in Islamabad, if this is true why the Govt do not let the independent journalists and Human right watch to oversee and analyse the situation.
