BoI says seven SEZs approved by govt
Three SEZs each would be established in Punjab and Sindh and one in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
ISLAMABAD:
The Board of Investment (BoI) is committed to facilitate foreign investors by providing them modern facilities in Special Economic Zones (SEZs). SEZs investors would get the facility for plant and machinery import without customs duty in all four provinces of the country. Three SEZs each would be established in Punjab and Sindh and one in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), spokesman Shah Jahan told APP on Friday. He said that seven SEZs have been approved by the government for facilitating and attracting investors through one-window operations. Shah Jahan said that nine more prioritised SEZs would also be established in Punjab, Sindh, K-P, Balochistan, northern areas and FATA.
