Moving forward: CM announces two varsities
Says one will be established in Lahore and other in Faisalabad

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said the youth can become economically empowered through technical and vocational education. He said the importance of such training has increased manifold and two universities will be established for skill development – one in Lahore and the other second in Faisalabad. The CM issues this statement during a high lever meeting in the city on Wednesday.
He said precious time had already in simply promoting skill development and now was the time for action. “We have to move forward with hard work and determination. He said CPEC had opened up new avenues for technical and vocational education and we should fully benefit from these opportunities. He added cooperation with Chinese province Tianjin would be promoted for vocational and technical education.
Provincial Ministers Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Malik Nadeem Kamran, Sheikh Allauddin, Chairman TEVTA and concerning officials attended the meeting.
