A letter to Modi

Letter May 01, 2017
I call your attention to the promise you made to Muslim women

RAMPUR, UTTAR PRADESH: Dear Mr Narendra Modi, I call your attention to the promise you made to Muslim women. In order to secure their constitutional rights, you maintained that the triple Talaq was not only a social evil but violated the constitutional rights of your Muslim sisters. You further promised that it is your pious duty and responsibility to secure the constitutional rights of your Muslim sisters as a head of the state.

If you really are interested on securing their rights, then call for a more punitive and rapid action from the ministries concerned and the Chief Justice of India, and suspend Justice P Sathasivam from the post of Kerala Governor to keep your promise. Most importantly, stop the mistreatment and degradation caused by the authorities concerned, who attack their freedom of expression.
