SHABQADAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) provincial chief Amir Mushtaq Ahmad Khan distanced himself from its coalition partner Pervez Khattak over his statement in the Mashal Khan murder case, saying, “I will cut the tongue and eyes of those who want to amend the blasphemy law.”

While talking to media at the JI secretariat in Charsadda on Sunday, he rejected the statement K-P CM had given on the floor of the house over Mashal’s murder. Mushtaq added that no one should call Mashal a martyr or a blasphemer till the completion of the investigation into his murder.

The JI leader while condemning the recent statements about amendments to the blasphemy law advised them not to play with the public’s sentiment over the law.

khaaki banda | 7 years ago | Reply There is no religion which preaches killing in her name. Islam is the religion of peace and love. Woman used to throw garbage on Rasulallah (saww) was being visited by Rehmatulil Aalmeen (saww) once sick and she went speechless due to His (saww) behavior finally embraced Islam. RasulAllah (saww) was being brutally torched in the streets of Mecca and Ta'if but He (saww) did not raise his hands against those illiterate morons and there are so many examples which one can write. Unfortunately, Islam has been hijacked by the so called clerics. Blasphemy Law is nothing but a tool to take out personal advantages and gains. Its all topi drama
