ISLAMABAD:
The interior ministry has responded to Khursheed Shah’s demand for Chaudhry Nisar to resign in a somewhat aggressive manner, saying the National Assembly opposition leader had yet to outgrow the ‘mentality of a KESC worker’.

“Some people cannot grow beyond their past origin and mentality. It seems that Khursheed Shah, morally and mentally, remains at the level he was at when he started his job at the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation back in ’70s,” the ministry’s spokesman said in a statement issued on Sunday.

Govt will scapegoat the small fry in Dawn Leaks report, says Khursheed

“In their enmity towards the interior minister, some people are victim to such a level of degradation that they are not willing to come out of their past training and mentality—that level is clearly manifested through their statements.”

The spokesman said Nisar “neither has the time for such nonsense and illogical statements nor does he consider it appropriate to respond to such baseless utterances of Khursheed Shah.”

“Linking every irrelevant thing to the interior minister clearly reflects the political, moral and personal bankruptcy of such persons,” he added.
