Muhammad Zameer, the father of the 15-year-old girl, told police that he along with his family members were threshing wheat in the fields in Kehkora village of Bewal when all of a sudden the shawl of his daughter got stuck in the machine’s belt.
The girl could not free herself in time and was dragged down by the thresher, killing her on the spot. Police are investigating the case.
