Human life in Pakistan

Letter April 25, 2017
We need to invest in social infrastructure to curb this situation

KARACHI: The worth of human life in our country is almost zero. People in every part of Pakistan are killed brutally. The minorities feel insecure and lose their family members every now and then. People following a different religion or sect have started feeling vulnerable and insecure. Especially, the Shia community is attacked on a regular basis because no concrete action has been taken till date.

The citizens appear helpless, the government looks impotent and the future looks gloomy by the day. The situation is beyond disturbing. Dozens of people are being killed, while all we are informed is that an unidentified person shot at them and ran away.

Moreover, apart from killings of innocent people, some die of poverty, helplessness and depression. No body’s rights are fulfilled. We need to invest in social infrastructure to curb this situation and the authorities concerned should look into the matter.
