Gilani supports Zardari on dual-office issue

Express May 17, 2010

ISLAMABAD: The prime minister on Monday asserted that President Zardari could hold two offices.

This came after the Lahore High Court issued a notice to President Zardari earlier in the day in the dual-office case.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Telecom Day, the prime minister asserted that courts should also summon the creator of NRO.

He also said that the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazl ur Rehman can form a new coalition if he wishes to, but the PPP will not abandon him.
