MUZAFFARABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Tuesday, acknowledged the improvement in the quality of education at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK). This was stated by HEC Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) director general while visiting UAJK. He noted that UAJK’s education score had risen from 72 to 74 points and was now competing with universities in Pakistan. The HEC official also appreciated the measures taken by the varsity’s Quality Enhancement Cell under UAJK Vice Chancellor Dr Khawaja Farooq’s supervision, noting that it would give confidence to the students and faculty members at the institute to strive for greater achievements.
