SMEDA promotes women enterprises

SMEDA-sponsored women entrepreneurs have been selected from under-privileged areas

LAHORE: Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) has set up an SME Pavilion by sponsoring 22 women enterprises in the Blue Fair organised by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI), Multan division in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority, Pakistan (TDAP).  This was stated by SMEDA Chief Executive Office Sher Ayub in a press statement issued here on Monday. SMEDA-sponsored women entrepreneurs have been selected from under-privileged areas of southern Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhawa (K-P), he said, adding that out of 22 stalls, 13 had been given to women entrepreneurs of K-P and 9 to southern Punjab.
