Driver killed as jeep skids off road

ABBOTTABAD: A jeep driver, Atif, was killed and his brother, Mohsin, was injured when their vehicle swerved off the road and fell into a ravine.

According to police and eyewitnesses, Atif was heading to Kali Dar village from Qalandarabad, Abbottabad. However, as he was driving on a mountaneous road, he lost control of the wheel while negotiating a sharp curve and his jeep fell in a gorge.

Police and local volunteers shifted the deceased and the injured to nearby hospital.
