Parliament House gets day care centre

To improve the working condition at the seat of democracy in the country, a baby daycare centre was inaugurated at the Parliament House on Thursday. National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq formally launched the two-room centre at Parliament House. Talking to media after the inauguration, Sadiq said that the centre had especially been established to facilitate women working at the facility whose babies were small. MNA Mehreen Razzaq Bhutto’s son was the first baby to be entertained at the facility today. Sadiq said the centre was a need for mothers who wanted to have their children properly looked after while they were busy inside the parliament.
