Peshawar Corps commander reiterates conduct of ‘unbiased census’

Peshawar Corps Commander Lt-Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt reiterated the resolve of ensuring unbiased conduct of the sixth population census in the country, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

He remarked during his visit to different parts of the Peshawar city to oversee the smooth conduct of the ongoing census.

Lt-Gen Butt was given a detailed briefing on the progress of headcount exercise while meeting a number of census teams.

According to the military’s media wing, local people at various parts of the city appreciated the professionalism and dedication of the army troops.

Senior government, military and provincial census authorities were also present during the visit.
