The long road to peace

Letter April 13, 2017
The wave of atrocious terrorism is declining

SHIKARPUR: Since Pakistan’s independence, despicable and sensitive problems have sparked political turmoil in the country and weakened its military strategies, giving way to terrorism. However, owing to the commendable efforts made by both the civil and military government, we can now think of heading towards peace. The wave of atrocious terrorism is declining.

Much hope has been created by the launch of Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad on the heels of the successful Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

But for the success of the new operation, it is quite necessary to ensure that the operation functions practically for durable peace in the country.
