2,400 capital teachers promoted

A committee promoted trained graduate teachers, physical training instructors and drawing teachers

ISLAMABAD: Authorities on Tuesday approved promotions of over 2,400 teachers working in schools in the Islamabad Capital Territory schools. The time-scale promotion committee, which has representation from the establishment and finance divisions, met at the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) headed by its additional secretary. The committee promoted trained graduate teachers, physical training instructors and drawing teachers from basic pay scale-16 to 17 with effect from January 1, 2016.
