Two plays were staged on the last day of the festival.

During the festival, as many as 12 plays were staged by different educational institutes and theatre clubs from Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Youth theatre collective Funkar Theatre Group from Rawalpindi presented their play `Ao khudkhushi ker lain' (Come lets commit suicide together) which highlighted how easy it was to die for one's passion rather than to live and struggle for it. The second play of the day was `Heran Pakistan' (Shocked Pakistan) was staged by students from the Comsat University in Islamabad. The play was a hard-hitting critique on the commercialisation of electronic media.

The festival, organised by PNCA, would award performers at a special ceremony today (Wednesday). The jury will hand out prizes in different categories of the festival. The jury includes Professor Shahid Masood, Shoaib Khaliq and Shaista Hanif.
