Prince Saad bin Faisal of Saudi Arabia passes away

The announcement was made late Monday night by the Royal Court

Prince Saad bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz al Saud passed away late Monday night, the Royal Court announced.

The state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that that the funeral prayers will be performed for the departed at the grand mosque in Makkah after Asr on Tuesday. The cause of Prince Saad's death remained unknown.

Condolences pour in

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended condolences to the custodian of the two holy mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud on the demise of Prince Saad.

Saudi Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa also extended condolences to King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud and to Prince Muhammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz al Saud.
