ISLAMABAD: The Water Management Wing of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is trying to devise a plan to ensure regular supply of water in the upcoming summer season.

With no likelihood of any increase in the supply, the water wing is placing its bets on controlling losses in shape of leaked pipes and theft through illegal connections.

According to a statement, CDA would ensure early completion of repair and maintenance work on different tube wells and water supply lines.

Furthermore, regular and strict monitoring was being ensured to eliminate complaints of water theft from the main supply lines, the statement said.

During the previous two weeks repair and maintenance work on different tube wells and other water supply sources was carried out and completed.
