Another challenge: Out-of-school children ‘a serious issue’

UAF Vice-Chancellor says no nation can make progress without quality education.

FAISALABAD: Increasing number of out-of-school children remain a serious challenge as a large number of children are denied their right of education owing to lack of resources and awareness.

This was said by University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan on Monday while speaking at the inauguration of newly constructed college building.

He emphasised the government, civil society and general public should take steps to provide education to out-of-school children.   He said, “No nation can make progress without quality education.”

He added, “Committed, skilled and trained manpower is the guarantee of a bright future that will help meet the challenges of modern era.”
