Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Hopefully by now you’ve realised that with your ruler Mars in cautious, thorough Taurus, things just won’t move as swiftly as you’d like. While, obviously, this requires patience, there’s a payoff. The issues you tackle will be dealt with once, and with a thoroughness that means you truly can forget them.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Although every sign is influenced by Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which has just begun, the fact it’s in Taurus means many of its errors could be personally revealing. True, initially, you won’t necessarily recognise how informative these are. But as you discuss them in depth, you’ll realise just how much you’ve learnt.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

No sign is better at estimating when to make arrangements based on how you think events will unfold, rather than waste time waiting to see what will happen. The trick is to discuss your plans and ideas but avoid making promises, since things may not turn out as you hope or expect.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

While you’re often the first to take note of, and respond to the emotional intensity triggered by every Full Moon, the current one accents certain domestic, family or work issues you’ve already dealt with. As a result, while others may be struggling with dramas, you’re likely to sail through easily.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

You don’t object to change, in the world around you or in your own life but, rather, prefer to make any alterations when it suits you. However, judging by the series of powerful yet unsettling aspects being formed by your ruler the Sun to the planetary powerhouses, dramatic shifts  are inevitable.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

The period during which your ruling planet, Mercury, is retrograde or in reverse motion is nothing new. While this has just begun, you’re also contending with the very different but as crucial issues triggered by the retrograde Venus. Between the two, while confusion is inevitable, it will also prove surprisingly illuminating.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

If you’re experiencing both life’s ups and downs with unusual intensity, it’s no surprise. In fact, with the emotionally heightened Full Moon in Libra, it’s inevitable. Pay attention to these feelings, and you’ll gain a better understanding of the role certain situations and, possibly, individuals play in your life.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

The Sun’s recent clash with your ruler Pluto will have roused both complex and unspoken issues, some so perplexing that understanding what’s involved is bound to take considerable time and thought. Tempting as it is to forget about them, be patient. What you learn will justify the persistence required.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

No sign wants more to think the best of others, even if there’s ample testimony to the contrary. But now your inborn generosity of spirit is being further challenged by the refusal of one particular individual to answer simple questions and, still less, discuss their views. Be patient. In time, they’ll talk.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

As a Capricorn, you long ago learnt the importance of weighing up your priorities, then basing plans on what’s most important. But with daily changes in both circumstances and your own obligations forcing you to rethink things, even the simplest of arrangements will need to be reconsidered, and often.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

For ages you’ve known you’d have to make potentially life-changing decisions. However, you’ve had so many questions about both major and minor issues you’ve ignored it all, hoping the matter would simply vanish. It hasn’t and, in fact, the Sun’s meeting with your ruler Uranus, on Friday, means those decisions are inevitable.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

While Venus went retrograde in early March, on 3 April it moved, still retrograde, into Pisces. Since then you’ve discussed and dealt with numerous misunderstandings. A few rather tricky ones remain. Tackle these now, and over the coming weeks, and you should be able to put them to rest for good.so. You’ll be glad you did.
