Addressing a news conference at the Karachi Press Club, Chaudhry said, “Although Sindh is rich in resources, people face problems due to corruption, nepotism and bad governance.”
Chaudhry said, “The level of corruption is on rise in Sindh and the rulers of the province are looting the public wealth.” He added that people were deprived of basic necessaries and government has no intention to resolve issues.
Hitting out at the PPP government, the former top judge said, “PPP government has been in power for the last nine years, but has failed to bring change in the daily life of the people. “The city of lights has now become a city of garbage, which is very unfortunate” he said. The former chief justice, while talking about the Panamagate case, said, “The Panamagate verdict may come against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, as he is no longer Sadiq and Ameen.”
