ISLAMABAD:
The district administration has finalised arrangements for conducting a census in the city from April 25. In this regard, the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Mushtaq Ahmad chaired a meeting on Thursday to review arrangements for the exercise. He said that the housing census would be held from April 25 to 28, followed by a population census. A total of 652 teams consisting of military and civilian staff will take part in the exercise. Moreover, the capital has been divided into 135 circles for the census. The meeting also discussed security measures for the census teams and it was decided that army, Rangers and Islamabad Police will jointly provide security.
