    What is more important is to bring Assad to justice for war crimes. This is a big ask. To achieve this, it would be necessary to reach some understanding with Russia, and China, especially with Russia.
    Alternatively, it might become imperative to isolate Russia-a difficult proposition. Because of impact on Europe’s needs of gas supplies from Russia, sanctions against Russia would be difficult to implement.
    However, it would be necessary to mold World public opinion in favor a military strike against Syria, which is fraught with the dangerous possibility of a direct confrontation with Russia with unpredictable consequences. Recommend

    This not the first time that Syria has used chemical weapons. Earlier, an investigation by the UN and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) found that Syrian government forces were responsible for three chlorine gas attacks in 2014 and 2015.
    So, enough is enough and Syrian despot Bashar al-Assad must face the International Criminal Court. Or somehow or the other be must brought to justice.Recommend

    @Ibne Adam:
    Your understanding of Syrian gas attacks is exactly opposite to what actually happened.Recommend
