Fun for all: Parents, children throng learning festival

Festival included events for young children featuring music and crafts.

MULTAN: The Beaconhouse School System held a one-day learning festival in Multan on Wednesday. The event was aimed at promoting a healthy life style and to provide educational activities for young children.

The festival lasted six hours and attracted both parents and children. Activities focusing on early childhood development were also offered at the festival.

During the event, children took part in e-learning, creativity, communication, physical fitness and health-based activities. The festival also included several events for young children featuring music and crafts.  The children were also seen enjoying various small games and participating in role plays. The atmosphere was also filled with the serene music of the school choir. In addition, painting competition was also organised for the children and prizes were distributed among the winners.

While speaking to The Express Tribune, Fatima Atif, a housewife, said  “Such events provide an opportunity to parents to keep track of latest innovations and progress of their children.”

“It is great to be here with my children. I have learned a lot about how I can play a productive in my children’s lives,” said another parent attending the festival.
