Seven Pakistani companies will be participating in the Automechanika Dubai Exhibition

Seven Pakistani companies will be participating in the Automechanika Dubai Exhibition scheduled to be held from May 7 to May 9.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has organised a national pavilion for these companies, which include Diamond Tyres Limited, Electropolymers, Kolia Corporation, Kortech Auto Industries, Pakistan Accumulators, Volta Dies & Molds and Rastgar Engineering.
Automechanika is the leading international trade fair for the automotive service industry targeting trade visitors from the wider Middle East. More than 500 visitors attended the event last year from Pakistan.
Auto show points to bright future ahead for sector
Pakistan’s auto part manufacturers are bullish on future growth of the industry due to growing sales of locally-assembled vehicles and planned investments of new companies.
Federal Minister for Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi has said that announcement of the new auto policy in 2016 has attracted new foreign companies to Pakistan and the government hopes the momentum will continue in the current year as well.
Last month, the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) was inaugurated. Federal Minister for Industries and Production Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi, speaking at the event, said that power generation projects and special economic zones under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are expected to play an important role in attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Pakistan.
