If you were heartbroken when Drake walked out on Degrassi: The Next Generation, we've got some good news for you. The super popular Canadian rapper is returning to television soon, this time in the third season of British crime drama Top Boy, reported Harper's Bazaar.  He reportedly bought the rights to the series last fall.

Drake's Top Boy star Ashley Walters, who plays Dushane, told The Daily Mirror that producers are reportedly writing in a major role for him. "Drake loves acting and he's going to be really hands on and is getting stuck into it," she said.

Ashley also noted that Drake "is such a down to earth, nice guy. He's so famous you would expect him to be this crazy character but he's actually quite boring, in a good way."

British rapper and grime star Skepta will also reportedly make an appearance. No official release date for Top Boy has been announced, but the third season is set to hit Netflix in 2018.
