Local leaders of the party are expected to gather inside the park near the district courts at noon to remember their late leader.
Bhutto had been executed on April 4, 1979, in the Rawalpindi District Jail during the Ziaul Haq regime. The site was later converted into a park.

According to Asad Abbasi, general secretary of the Peoples Lawyers Forum - Rawalpindi division, lawyers and workers associated with the party will attend the event.
The event will begin with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by speeches from prominent party leaders who would pay tribute to remember their leader, said Abbasi.
PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Qaira, former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Nadeem Afzal Chan and other prominent party leaders are expected to attend the gathering.
He added that they had also invited people from all walks of life to the event to pay tribute to the former prime minister.
