Primary schools of Balochistan

Letter April 04, 2017
The provincial education minister must take revolutionary steps

TURBAT: Balochistan is the largest and richest province of Pakistan but unsurprisingly, it is largely overlooked and neglected in terms of education. It is heart-wrenching to point out that there is no learning environment in the province’s schools. The system of education is totally unsympathetic. The situation of primary schools is bad because of lack of proper planning in the field of education while the government is merely relying on rhetorical promises.

The provincial education minister must take revolutionary steps to illuminate their future through the provision of standard education among children. Education authorities are requested to take concrete and prompt measures in order to give access to basic educational facilities to primary schools of the province.
