Power in the city was restored after more than 10 of K-Electric's 64 grid stations tripped on Sunday evening, confirmed KE Communications Director Sadia Dada. The power outage was said to be the first major power breakdown during the recent rise of temperature in the metropolis in the past week. The affected areas included Defence Housing Authority, Clifton, Saddar, Keamari, Baloch Colony, PECHS, Lines Area, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Bahadurabad and University Road, among others.
