Ripah University funding landscaping of H-8 roundabout

ISLAMABAD: Involvement of people in development of city will create a sense of ownership among the residents and also help maintain beauty of the metropolis, said Mayor Anser Aziz on Saturday.

He said that Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) have asked all stakeholders to upgrade different avenues, roads, parks, playgrounds, recreational areas, green belts, median strips and roundabout under Own a Park programme.

“Islamabad is our identity, therefore, all of us have to work to make it a beautiful city under Own a Park programme,” he said at the ground breaking ceremony of development and beautification work of H-8 roundabout by the Ripah  University under its corporate social responsibility initiative.

Ripha University Chancellor Dr Hassan Muhammad Khan, Vice Chancellor Dr Anis and faculty was present along with senior officers of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI).
