The head of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Major General Azhar Saleh Abbasi has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General and posted as Corps Commander Mangla (One Corps) with immediate effect.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Corps Commander Mangla Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayat has been posted as NDMA chairman while Lt Gen Umar Farooq Durrani has been appointed Pakistan Ordnance Factories Chairman in Wah.
