Healthy activities: Sports gala prize distribution

H-9 College Principal Prof Mudassir Niaz was the chief guest

ISLAMABAD: The annual sports prize distribution ceremony for 2016-17 was held at Islamabad Model postgraduate H-8 on Thursday. H-9 College Principal Prof  Mudassir Niaz was chief guest and PIA HR Director Sardar Muhammad Riasat was the guest of honour.

The latter said sports and games are healthy activities that help individuals become effective. He asked the students to play as much as they can, to win honour, respect, and prestige for the country.

Principal Niaz said Pakistan would progress faster if everyone played their part, regardless of the field; education or sports.

Cricket, badminton, table tennis, Tug of war, short put,  Javelin throw, Discus throw,  100 and 200m race , long jump and high jump competitions were held during the sports week.
