Promoting the Belarusian language in Pakistan could help break down barriers and improve bilateral ties between the two countries.

This was stated by the Ambassador of Belarus Andrei Ermolovich while visiting the National University of Modern Languages on Thursday. During the visit, NUML Director General Brig Riaz Ahmed Gondal briefed the Belarusian delegation about the university and how it was the only educational institution in the country offering over two dozen courses in national and international languages.

Besides languages, Gondal said that NUML has four other faculties. He said that the varsity was keen to collaborate with Belarusian counterparts to enhance research culture in Pakistan and start student exchange programmes with Belarusian universities.
