Their lives and dreams are badly disrupted because of these marriages
KECH: Early or underage marriage is a horrifying reality in Pakistan. Children under the age of 15 are routinely being married especially in case of girls. Perhaps that is why we keep hearing about girls committing suicide soon after marriage. Their lives and dreams are badly disrupted because of these marriages. Shouldn’t our society shield girls from such an awful fate? Let us all do our part and discourage such practices.
