‘Better Workplaces’: Project for working women launched

ISLAMABAD:
A project, which seeks to improve working conditions for women in public and private sectors while advocating for gender sensitive labour laws was launched on Monday. Netherlands Ambassador Jeannette Seppen inaugurated the project. Funded by the Embassy Dutch, the million euros ‘Women’s Action for Better Workplaces’ project aims to enhance capacities of women workers and their organisations to negotiate and advocate with employers, policy-makers and legislators for effective implementation of existing laws.
