LAHORE: A judicial magistrate sent 14 people to jail on remand for 14 days for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.

Township police produced four women and 10 men before the magisterial court, alleging the suspects were caught red-handed.

The lawyers of the suspects contended their clients were implicated in fake cases just to blackmail them and they had nothing to do with this case.

After hearing the initial arguments, the court sent the suspects on judicial remand.

Bails granted

A judicial magistrate also granted bails to two suspects booked for rash driving by Township police.

The two men were presented before the magisterial court by police, alleging the suspects were arrested for driving carelessly.

Their counsel implored the men had nothing to do with the case and were implicated merely to mint money from them. After hearing the arguments, the court granted bails to both the men.
