ISLAMABAD: A lawmaker from the ruling party has complained that her valuables have been stolen from her allotted accommodation in the Parliament Lodges.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s Shaista Pervaiz, an MNA on a reserved seat for women, told Secretariat police that her diamond and gold jewellery had been stolen from her flat in the Lodges.

Pervaiz told police that after using the jewellery, she placed the valuables in a suitcase on the evening of March 15. She left for Lahore the next day along with the suitcase.
