Missing For Two Days: Body of elderly woman found in stream
The woman’s family says the 70-year-old Alaf Noor was a widow

The body of a missing woman was found in a small stream in the Oghi area of Mansehra, police said on Thursday. The woman’s family told Oghi police that 70-year-old Alaf Noor was the widow of Muhammad Usman from the village. She had gone missing from her home two days ago. The family launched a search. But when they failed to locate her, they informed the police. On Wednesday evening some villagers spotted the body of woman stuck in weeds of Saror stream flowing near the village. Police shifted the body to the hospital where she was identified. Her family told police that she had been mentally unwell for the last three months after her husband had passed away. They added that the couple had no children.
