Foreign players send wishes on Pakistan Day

Islamabad United share messages in a video on their official twitter account

Foreign players of Islamabad United, the winner of the inaugural edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), have commemorated Pakistan Day by sending their wishes on Twitter.

The franchise shared a 45-second video on their official twitter account, which included messages from English pacer Steven Finn, his fellow countryman, wicketkeeper batsman Sam Billings, and West Indian leg-spinner Samuel Badree.

The video, in which all the players sent wishes to their fans on Pakistan Day, also included just one local player, Hussain Talat.

Billings’ message was the most interesting one, as he ended it with a rendition of Vital Signs' famous song 'Dil Dil Pakistan’.

Another England player, Peshawar Zalmi’s top-order batsman David Malan, also took to his twitter to send Pakistan Day wishes to his fans in Pakistan.
