In a press conference at Nishtar Park, Sheikh Abdullah, the elected MPA from PS-97, announced that he joined Mustafa Kamal and Anis Kaimkhani's party after getting inspired by their manifesto.
"I heard the recent speech of MQM founder Altaf Hussain and decided that I had had enough of the propaganda against the country," said Abdullah, who just returned to Pakistan after more than a year.

He said that he had been in talks with the PSP leadership since its inception but did not announce the association publicly. "I considered it intensively and then made up my mind to join the party."
Our slogan is to eliminate ethnic divide: Mustafa Kamal
"I am convinced that there is no other party like PSP, which is working for the oppressed public of Karachi and Hyderabad," said the former MPA, who had also served the party as in-charge of Gulshan-e-Maymar's MQM sector.
PSP leader Mustafa Kamal was also present at the press conference where he announced holding a political demonstration on Pakistan Day at Karachi's Nishtar Park.
"We are organising a convention at Nishtar Park tomorrow. People will see a remarkable demonstration of a year-old party on Pakistan Day," Kamal said.
The leader of the party, which started out as a major rival force for the MQM in the metropolis last year, said he was in contact with 'everyone' in the ranks of his former party who would soon come and join him.
