As it turns out, being single is great for your health. According to their research, 73% of all the people in the UK who aren't getting enough exercise are married.
In fact, losing weight in general is a lot more challenging if you're in a marriage. And it's not even just about your physical health. Research finds that single people have greater job satisfaction, single women in particular.

Both single and married people have roughly the same amount of close friends, but unmarried women tend to be more concerned with women's welfare in general.
Being single is better for some people than others, like if you're conflict-averse. Not to mention, being scared of being single, you're more likely to settle with an unsatisfactory partner.
