ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Poland on Monday agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation to ensure security of the region.

Pakistan Navy ships dock at Iranian Port Bandar Abbas

This was agreed during a meeting of Chief of Polish Navy Rear Admiral Miroslaw Mordel and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah.

The Polish naval chief visited the Naval Headquarters and called on Admiral Zakaullah, according to a Pakistan Navy statement. Upon arrival at the naval headquarters, Rear Admiral Mordel was received by Admiral Zakaullah.

The visiting chief was also presented with a guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of the Pakistan Navy.
