LAHORE: The principal of a school in Badami Bagh was murdered by parents allegedly for scolding their child on Monday. Rizwan Tanveer, who lived in the school building as well, had admonished his student named Bilal for not taking his studies seriously and misbehaving in the class.

The episode did not go down well with the boy’s family. On Monday, the parents stormed into the school and started thrashing the principal and his wife with clubs. The victims were severely injured and shifted to a nearby hospital, where the man succumbed to injuries.

sasha riaz | 7 years ago | Reply How could the parents have reacted in such an extreme manner and resort to violence and murder? Did they have no fear of God? They obviously thought that they were above any criticism and took the reprimand of their son as an insult. Their arrogance is as shocking as their criminal actions. Sadly for the principal the school itself appears to have been lacking in security to protect staff from parents on the rampage. These errant parents must be made to face the consequences of their actions.Chief Justice , please take note
