QUETTA: Balochistan is striving hard to address the micronutrient deficiencies among women and children, a senior nutrition programme official said on Saturday.

A little less than one-third of women and 35 per cent of children in Balochistan suffer from iodine deficiency, said the Nutrition Programme’s provincial coordinator Dr Ali Nasir Bugti.
