LAHORE: Soon after his divorce from Fariha Parvez, singer Nouman Javaid was in the headlines for his second marriage to Mor Mahal actor Jana Malik. While the couple tied the knot in September last year, rumours are rife that the two have been living separately for quite some time now.

“I love my wife Jana Malik and I am crazy about her. She is the only woman I want to live with in this world and I believe that there is no life without her,” Nouman told The Express Tribune. Well, we can’t be too sure about how genuine this statement is - or whether this is a one-sided emotion. Last year, the singer had made similar confessions about his ex-wife Fariha. “I am sure that I will be successful in maintaining my marriage because I have never thought of anyone else other than her. I will wait till the end for Fariha,” he told the publication earlier.

Jana has reportedly moved in with her parents again and Nouman is living with a friend. According to an insider, tension between the couple started in the first few months of their marriage.

“There were many domestic and financial issues between them so Jana decided to leave him,” said the source. It’s upsetting to see that Jana and Nouman were not getting along – considering the fact that she helped him come out of the depression following his divorce with Fariha, and also played a pivotal role in making sure he got back on track following his attempted suicide.

“A few close friends and family members are making efforts for a compromise between them and maybe their efforts will be successful,” revealed a source close to Jana.

We wish Nouman best of success since he has resumed his music projects this year and also signed a film.
