Two militants killed as security forces foil bid to attack FC centre in Shabqadar
One FC personnel killed in the twin attacks
At least one paramilitary soldier was killed and two others injured early Friday morning in what official sources said was a twin suicide attack on a Frontier Constabulary Centre in Shabqadar.
DPO Charsadda Sohail Khalid told The Express Tribune that two suicide bombers were killed during the attack. “One security personnel was also killed,” he added.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital in Shabqadar for treatment. The FC centre is located in the Ayesha Korona area of Charsadda district on the confluence of Mohammad Agency.

A faction of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Taliban Pakistan Jamaatul Ahrar claimed responsibility for the attack.
The military's media wing Inter Services Public Relations said an operation was underway.
"Suicide Bombers bid to attack FC training center at Shabqadar foiled. Two suicide bombers killed. One FC soldier killed and another injured," the statement added.
The area is one kilometre outside of Mohmand Agency in Peshawar district, which is administratively run by Charsadda police, and has an advanced FC training centre.
